There are many different types of INTERPOL notices, and Ms. Estlund has experience handling them all.

Issues that may arise in INTERPOL cases

  • A Red Notice creates difficulty with traveling & banking.
  • A Green Notice may prevent an individual from entering countries.
  • Yellow Notices are sometimes improperly issued.
  • Blue Notices can results in unwanted surveillance and tracking of the subject.

red notices

Issued by a country when a person is wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence and the person is believed to have left the country.

green notices

It is used when a country wishes to notify INTERPOL that a person is likely to commit a specific type of crime in other countries.

yellow notices

Issued for missing persons who have been kidnapped or have disappeared without explanation.

blue notices

It is issued when a person is believed to have information about a crime or a suspect in a crime that allows them to be traced and potentially contacted more easily.

Broadcasts

Similar to Red Notices, but may be issued from one country to another, or to a few countries, rather than to the entire INTERPOL data network (like a Red Notice).

Preventive requests

When our clients believe they will soon be subject to the Red Notice, we prepare their cases in advance and contact INTERPOL before they receive a request.
